Be The Kind of Parent You

Want To Be

Be the Kind of Caregiver you Needed-and the One Your Child Needs Now

Parenting and caregiving do not come with a manual.

For many of us, the way we show up for children is shaped by what we experienced growing up — what we received, what we missed, and what we had to figure out on our own.

As a motherless daughter, I know what it feels like to navigate parenting without the steady presence of a female role model to turn to. I also know the deep desire to do things differently, to build connection instead of conflict, and to create a home where children feel understood, supported, and safe to be who they are.

At Colibri Parent Coaching & Consulting, I support caregivers who are trying to parent with more calm, confidence, and connection — especially when the road feels complicated.

I work with parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, adoptive and kinship caregivers, and families supporting children with ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexia, learning differences, and neurodiverse profiles. I also coach adults who are beginning to understand themselves through a late-age neurodivergent diagnosis or self-discovery.

Together, we look at what is happening beneath the behavior, build practical tools that fit your real life, and create a more compassionate path forward for both you and the child you love.

"Working with Gina through the Jai Institute for Parenting has truly changed our lives, not just as parents, but as individuals and as a family. She has an incredible ability to guide with compassion, wisdom, and genuine understanding. Every session brought new clarity, deeper connection, and tools that actually work in real life.

Her coaching goes far beyond parenting techniques; it’s about healing, awareness, and growth on every level. She has an innate gift for this work! You can feel that she’s truly meant to do it. We’re so grateful for the ways she’s helped us communicate better, show up with more empathy, and build a calmer, more loving home.

I highly recommend this program to any parent who wants to build a stronger, more connected relationship with their children."

Hi! I’m Gina

I became a parent coach because I was determined to build a different kind of relationship with my children than the one I grew up knowing.

As a motherless daughter, I entered parenting without a female role model to guide me through the hard moments, the tender moments, or the questions that come when you are trying to raise children while still understanding your own story. I loved my children deeply, but I also had to learn how to parent with more awareness, connection, and emotional steadiness.

Over time, I discovered that parenting is not about being perfect. It is about repairing, learning, growing, and becoming more present with the children in front of us.

For nearly 20 years, I have worked as a special educator, supporting students and the adults who love them. I have walked alongside families navigating IEPs, school meetings, behavior challenges, learning differences, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexia, and the emotional weight that can come with advocating for a child who does not fit neatly inside traditional systems.

My work is especially rooted in supporting parents of neurodiverse children, grandparents raising grandchildren, adoptive and kinship families, and adults who are beginning to recognize their own neurodivergent profile later in life.

At Colibri Parent Coaching & Consulting, you will be met with compassion, practical tools, and respect for your lived experience. We will look at what is hard, what is working, and what needs to shift so you can feel more grounded, more equipped, and less alone.

You do not have to figure it all out by yourself.

Compassionate Coaching for Parents, Grandparents, and Neurodiverse Families
